Arcany is a cozy indie MMORPG with bullet-hell style combat and pixel art graphics, featuring horizontal progression across 5 skills, challenges, and allowing players to create their own maps.

THE UNIVERSE

The discovery of Arcany magic corrupted the planet long ago in what is now called The Cataclysm, or at least that is what the history books tell you. You live in a society formed near the North Pole shortly after the Cataclysm, far away from the Arcane corruption. However, have you ever wondered what happened to the rest of the world?

SKILLS

Free-to-play players can level up Fishing, Crafting, Cooking, and Combat, which are the four core skills.

Enchanting is exclusive to members and allows players to enchant their weapons with stackable bullet patterns
and traits to better tackle upcoming challenges.

More skills will be released in the future
with the first planned addition being Farming, a skill that allows you not only to grow food but also magical crystal plants used to craft weapons with exotic properties.

SOCIAL

Click on other players to check their outfit and levels, or add them as a friend. You can also trade items to help them on their journey, and invite them to join your party.

Our party system allows players to group up with up to three other friends to tackle the hardest challenges and bosses, or simply explore the world together. Combat XP is divided among members while loot is individual, so you will not have to fight your friends for it, unless you are in a PvP map where you literally can.

Arcany started as a fully social game, and we intend to keep that spirit. The world contains social areas scattered everywhere.

A friends list, and a fully functional, customizable chat system that stores messages, essentially an in-game messenger.

BUILDING

More than just an MMO, Arcany is also a small game engine. You will have access to all the tools we used to build the world, allowing you to create freely on your own land. Open a restaurant, make a game room, or build your dream farm. It is up to you.

ROADMAP

MONETIZATION

Arcany operates with monthly subscriptions. The lower tier already grants access to the full game, while the higher tier is mostly symbolic apart from a few additional benefits such as extra Corebits.Corebits are a currency received by members each month they remain subscribed. However, free-to-play players can also earn Corebits at a slower pace through daily challenges, which reward 2 Corebits.Corebits can be spent in the Corebits Shop, where players can purchase cosmetics from previous seasons if they missed them.These are the only ways to obtain Corebits, as we do not offer any other monetization methods beyond subscriptions.
